Estimated Cost of Attendance (COA)

The estimated cost of attendance (COA) at New York City College of Technology is $41,928 for the 2013-2014 academic year. This includes tuition and fees, room and board, books, supplies, and other living expenses.

The COA is lower at $36,548 for students who live on campus. For students who live off campus, the COA increases to $47,724. The minimum required credits for full-time enrollment are 68 credit hours. The maximum credit allowed is 128 credit hours. Students who enroll in less than 68 credit hours will be charged an additional $2,728 per credit hour.

Students who wish to take summer courses must first obtain permission from the registrar’s office. The COA for summer courses is $8,160 per term (6 weeks). A maximum of 12 summer terms can be taken during one academic year.

The Library Resource Center houses many books, journals, newspapers, periodicals, audio and video materials. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The library also offers online resources, including databases and search engines.
